Today, the White House posted a video on YouTube titled “Veterans SLAM the Seditious Six & Issue a Crystal-Clear Message: We Stand with President Trump 🇺🇸.” The video features clips of people talking of unspecified origin. And with no names displayed or any mention of the military service of the people included. Based on previous videos and the footage, it appears that they made have simply taken clips from already public footage instead of them being involved in the creation of the footage. One of the people included is very obviously not a veteran.
The footage include a clip of sports commentator Stephen A. Smith from his show Straight Shooter with Stephen A. He isn’t a veteran. Presumably, they could have found actual veterans that agree with their premise. But this White House doesn’t seem all that interested in getting things right even as they have created a new section of their website to criticize the media for supposed accuracy.
